The Third International Festival–Exhibition of Foreign Universities in Tajikistan – 2026

On 6–7 April 2026, in the city of Dushanbe, at the Expo Center “Expo-Dushanbe,” the Third International Festival–Exhibition of Foreign Universities in the Republic of Tajikistan – 2026 was officially launched. The event has become an important platform for showcasing international education opportunities and strengthening inter-university cooperation.

The National Erasmus+ Office in Tajikistan actively participated in the festival with the involvement of its staff and volunteers. During the event, prospective students, university students, academic staff, and representatives of higher education institutions were introduced to various international programmes, including Erasmus+. In addition, meetings with potential partners were held to further expand cooperation.

The official opening ceremony took place on 6 April at the National Library of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Dilrabo Mansuri, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahim Saidzoda, representatives of the diplomatic corps, leaders and representatives of national and international universities, development partners, and guests from various countries.

It was highlighted that the festival serves as a key platform for presenting study opportunities, establishing direct links between universities, and promoting academic and innovation cooperation. It also creates broad opportunities for implementing joint programmes, including double degree programmes, the establishment of joint faculties, and the development of collaborative research projects.

Following the official ceremony, participants visited the exhibition of foreign universities at the Expo Center “Expo-Dushanbe,” where they explored study programmes, academic opportunities, and scholarship offers from higher education institutions across different countries.

The festival is being held from 6 to 10 April 2026 in the cities of Dushanbe, Khujand, and Dangara, contributing to the development of international cooperation, increasing youth access to quality education, and strengthening academic partnerships.
