Key Events of the National Erasmus+ Office of Tajikistan in the Last Month
The last month has been eventful for the National Erasmus+ Office of Tajikistan! The office is actively working to expand educational cooperation and support students.
Meeting with OSCE
The coordinator of the National Office, M. Nakhadzoda, held a productive meeting with representatives from the media department of the OSCE, including Mr. Senate and Ms. Shokhina. During the discussions:
- Current Erasmus+ projects and opportunities for partnership between Tajik and European universities were reviewed, particularly in the field of journalism.
- The role of the National Office in coordinating partnerships between EU and Tajik universities was defined.
- The possibility of organizing open lectures by the OSCE ambassador at universities was discussed, supporting the third mission of universities. The National Office will inform universities about the possibility of such lectures.
Meeting with the Innovation Institute of Dushanbe
A meeting also took place with the leadership of the Innovation Institute of Dushanbe — Ilkhom Khatami and Zubaidullo Ubaidulloev. Key topics of the meeting included:
- Creating partnerships with universities outside Tajikistan and seeking teachers with foreign language skills.
- Ways to improve academic collaboration at the international level.
Collaboration with UNHCR and the Albert Einstein Foundation (DAFI)
The National Office discussed ways to support migrant students studying at Tajik universities to successfully continue their studies in other countries through the Erasmus+ program.
Support for Erasmus+ Students
In addressing issues faced during the Erasmus+ program, the National Office assisted students Paymon Naimzoda and Zamira Azimova. We are pleased to announce that Paymon and Zamira from Tajik National University will begin their credit mobility at Philipps Universität Marburg, Germany, from October 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025. Congratulations to them, and we wish them successful studies!
The National Erasmus+ Office of Tajikistan continues to actively work on strengthening cooperation and effectively implementing Erasmus+ projects. Supporting students and partnerships with European universities remain the main priorities of the National Office.
